GotlandRing – the world’s first sustainable race and test track – has already established itself as an interesting and challenging driving environment. Now the new South Loop combined with the North Loop, an exciting 7.3km configuration, adds a new level of excitement to the circuit that Road and Track is already calling the world’s most unlikely track.

The design of the South Loop is an exciting blend of old and new. It has the flow and speed of the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife, but the modern safety of a Grand Prix circuit.

The differences in altitude are constant. Every topographical change has been used in the design of this track in an exotic setting, a former limestone quarry. Rhythmic, fast flowing aero corners, blind crests, a skidding carousel, several high speed sectors, breathtaking views and pure driving pleasure are just a few attributes of this magnificent track profile. This is so much more than modern race tracks usually have to offer as a driving environment today.
