I am a young, talented and professional racing driver. At the moment I am racing in the VLN on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a BMW Z4 GT3 and BMW M6 GT3 with more than 500hp. I started kart racing at the age of 4 and was able to do so until I was 16 with the support of my parents. I was able to gain experience at German and European championships and also celebrated some successes. In 2012, I was a factory driver in Robert Kubica’s kart team, the RK Racing Team.
In the winter of 2013-2014, I built a 318iS Coupe racing car with my father, with which I then took part in the DMV BMW Challenge in 2014 and immediately won the championship in the class.
For 2015, we converted the car to a 325i to compete again in the DMV BMW Challenge, in the larger 6-cylinder class. I also became champion there straight away. We have earned the money for the races with temporary jobs in the VLN since 2014. This gave me the opportunity to get to know the ‘wrenching’ side of the race car, which helped me a lot in understanding the technology.
2016 was my first year as a driver in endurance racing on the Nordschleife. I took part in all 10 races of the VLN Endurance Championship in my own BMW M235i Racing in CUP 5 and even finished on the podium once. In addition, there was the 24h qualifying race and my personal highlight, my first 24h race as a driver, which I finished in 4th place.
In 2017 I drove the BMW Z4 GT3 and the BMW M6 GT3 in the VLN. In addition to a number of podium finishes in the VLN, we were able to take class victory in the 24h qualifier, and in the season highlight, the 24h race, in addition to 17th place overall, we were also able to take 2nd place in class. In addition, despite many fast laps at the limit, I didn’t put a scratch on the car during the whole season.
After graduating from the Betty Reis Comprehensive School in Wassenberg, I have now started my apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechatronics technician.
