

About Shanel
Shanel is a young racing driver who has been racing since 2016 beginning within the Junior Saloon Car Championship.
In 2017 she was runner-up in the “Michelin Clio Road Class” despite being the youngest and least experienced on the grid, and in 2019 she was the first female representative for Great Britain at the Swedish “FIA Girls on Track Finals.
2021 will see Shanel competing within one of the UK's leading motorsport weekends followed by ITV4- The Mini Challenge Trophy supporting the BTCC.
After setting up her own performance driver instructing business in 2019, she has also gained additional experience as an instructor both on track/ Ice for various trackday providers.
Social Engagement
Having faced discrimination upon multiple levels throughout her career, Shanel in hugely involved within Mental Health awareness as an ambassador for The Community Driving School who are the UK's only non-profit driving school helping victims of suicide, abuse and other marginalised backgrounds obtain a full UK driver's licence.
She will be actively promoting Mental Health through her Raise The Roof Campaign this season as well as inviting the CDS students along to races to learn new skill sets.
